Learning to Care for your nails
After-care and maintenance for nails:
*To maintain your nail extensions, I would advise to
return every 2-3 weeks for an infill and rebalance, and to keep your nails in tip top condition.
*Your nails should be treated like jewels and are not
to be used as tools. Do not use your nails to open doors, canned drinks, dial on the telephone etc.
*Avoid pulling, biting, tearing or picking off your
extensions as this will cause damage to your natural nails.
*Wear gloves when washing dishes, gardening or working
with any chemicals or detergents.
*Tinted lotions, suntan creams and hair products can
discolour your extensions so wash your hands thoroughly after use or use gloves to protect them.
*Please massage cuticle oil / cuticle cream everyday
to keep your nails looking good and to nourish the natural nail underneath. Also remember to push back cuticles once a week.
If you do not have any hand cream / cuticle cream/oil.
*Always make sure that you push back your cuticles with
an orange or hoof stick.
*Use a non-acetone polish remover for nail enhancements
to remove nail polish.
Please contact me to remove your enhancements
if you no longer desire them.
Please advise me asap if you have any of
the following reactions:
*Rash, redness, inflammation of any kind around the
nails.
*If your extensions begin to lift, turns yellow or green
please make an appointment immediately, as this can lead to infection.
