Celestite
is a brittle crystal that's usually found in sedimentary rocks. The crystals form in cavatities and geodes, with some naturally
forming wand-like shapes. One of the components of celestite, called strontium suphate, is used for making fireworks, as it
emits a bright red flame when burned.
Metaphysical
Properties
The
energy of celestite is very gentle, encouraging an element of peacefulness, calm and communication.
The
name celestite derives from the Latin word Caelertis, which means 'of the sky,' and its pale blue colour can remind us to
celebrate the celestial sky and the higher planes. It's often used as a tool for meditative purposes.
