Sugilite
is one of the more recent crystals to be discovered, having first been found in Japan
in the 1940s. Its named after the Japanese geologist who found it, Ken-ichi Sugi.
Metaphysical
properties:
Sugilite
reminds us of the connection between mind and body and that it needs to be strengthened from time to time. It offers a sense
of calmness and understanding, warding off stale energy and replacing it with a cleaner and purified air.
In terms
of chakra work, sugilite can be used as a tool to aid the flow of energy from the crown right down to the base chakra, opening
any blocked energy zones as it flows. It's also useful for third eye work, in particular when you're trying to activate or
open it.
