Essential Oils Juniperberry

Latin name: Juniperus communis, Macedonia. Smell: Fresh, sweet, pine needles, turpentine-like. Juniperberry can be very effective in relieving muscle aches caused by exercise, especially when used in a hot bath. It is especially useful in clearing unwanted energies that you have 'picked up' in public places, or for purifying a space for ceremony. Native Americans and Tibetans use juniper to cleanse and purify the physical and spiritual bodies. The oil is steam-distilled from the berries of the shrub. Take care if operating machinery or driving as juniper can make you somewhat 'dreamy'. Keep out of the reach of children and avoid during pregnancy.
