of your *favourite herb
1 tbsp
Yucca root
100ml
distilled water
Boil
water and infuse herbs for 15-20 minutes. Strain herbs set liquid aside.
Add
2 tbsp Vegetable Glycerin to herbal infusion.

gram bar of a natural shampoo bar. Note there is no curing time for bars that will be turned into liquid, they can
be process when they are removed from the mould.

ml of water (use less water for a more concentrated soap)
Grate
shampoo bar and add to water. Bring to boil, then on low until all pieces of shampoo bar have dissolved.

Add
liquid shampoo to strained herbal infusion. Add 15-20 drops of your favourite essential oil.

and storage: Stored in a cool dry location shelf life of liquid soap is approximately 1 year.
*Herbs
to try for liquid soap:
Nettle,
Horsetail & Coltsfoot: All contain amino acids that are excellent for skin and hair
Peppermint
or Spearmint: Stimulates dry skin and invigorates senses a great morning wake up.
Lavender:
Balances oily skin, good for acne prone skin, relaxing essence
Marigold
and Rose petals: Moisturizing for dry skin, relaxing essence
Chamomile:
Calms irritated skin, and nerves
Patchouli:
Wonderful earthy scent, good for dry skin and Eczema conditions
Colouring
and Scenting Suggestions:
Try
adding 20-25 drops of your favourite essential oil per 250ml of liquid soap.
You
can colour your liquid soap or body wash by using the following ingredients: (per 250ml of
product)

tsp of Natural Earth Colours (Yellow, Red, Brown, Green, )
1/2
tsp Pink, Red, Green clay (you will need to dissolve the clay in 2 Tbsp of liquid soap to blend properly)
1/4
tsp Ratanjot powder (you will need to dissolve the powder in 2 Tbsp of liquid soap to blend
properly)
